Before You Book
The questions people usually ask before a discovery call.
I'm just getting started - should I still book a call?
Yes.
Do I need to be pre-approved before we talk?
No you don't. The only reason you might want to be pre-approved before our discovery call is so you know how much you can afford and how it will impact the properties you are looking for.
Otherwise, you can get pre-approved in 24-48 hours with a lender when you are ready.
What is the cost to work with me?
Zero upfront. Everything is a negotiation, but I'm not the cheapest agent.
Buyers: Sellers are still typically paying commissions for both sides out of their proceeds at closing.
Sellers: If your main priority is finding the lowest commission possible, I may not be the right fit. I focus on maximizing your sale price, overall return, and experience which often delivers far more value than a discount rate.
Am I obligated to work with you after the call?
No.
If and when you choose to work with me, a buyer-broker agreement will be signed prior to any showings. These are required prior to any showings per the national class-action lawsuit in 2024.
This BBA is usually structured to last a couple months and transparently sets my commission upfront.
I might need to sell my current home as well.
Yes, I handle both buying and selling. If you need to sell your current home, I can help you list it, market it, and coordinate the sale so we can align it with your purchase timeline. This way, the transition from your current home to your new one is as smooth as possible.
First-time buyer - is this a good place to start?
Yes. This consultation is designed to help you understand the next steps and not be confused where we are in the sales process. Whether you have questions about financing, neighborhoods, or how to make a competitive offer, I'll walk you through each step so you feel confident moving forward.
